@ In high school Che Lah was joining the students’ association of Mara Institute of Technology, appointed as its treasurer in 1982 ± In America he became a member of AEA (American Entrepreneurs Association) ± He also became a member of National Honor Society For Collegiate School of Business Beta Gamma Sigma ± Appointed as treasurer of Muslim Students Association, Ohio University, in 1987

@ 1994/97 joined MISNA (Malaysian Islamic Society of North America), appointed as its chairman in 1995 and elected as its president in 1996 ± While he was joining MISNA he met some reputable islamic scholars, among them were Dr. Yusof Qardlawi, Sheikh Zakiuddin Sharfi, Dr. Karim Zaidan, Sheikh Muta’al Jabri, Dr. Jamal Badawi, Sheikh Jamaluddin Zorobozo, Sheikh Zaid Shakir etc

± Che Lah (his full name is Che Abdullah Mat Nawi) was the middle of 5 brothers and sisters, born in Pasir Mas at 6th June 1960, from the religious and happiness family of (the late) Mr. Mat Nawi B. Haji Bakar and Mrs. Che Rogayah Bt. Che Abdullah.
± Che Lah get married with Mrs. Saleha Binte Yaacob (sister of Vice Canselor UM, Prof. Dato’ Dr. Hashim Yaacob) in 1986 and have 8 beloved children
± Mrs Saleha (called Sister Ha) has been consistently stand as special assistant of her husband in running of their business with her own.
± The elder daughter is studying at IIUM (International Islamic University of Malaysia) in Kuala Lumpur. The elder son is studying at Islamic High School of Muhammadi (the best school in town).
